Terms and Conditions of Service
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of guitar lessons by Arthur (trading as ArthV Guitar Studio) to the student. By booking a lesson, both parties agree to these terms, which apply equally to instructor and student.

1. Acceptance and Agreement
Booking any lesson (Single or Block) signifies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Both parties acknowledge that scheduled lesson times represent a mutual commitment of time and preparation.

2. Payment and Booking
a. Prepayment: All lesson fees are due and payable in full no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. Failure to make payment by this deadline reserves the right for ArthV Guitar Studio to cancel the slot and offer it to another student.
b. Block Payments: The 10-Lesson Commitment Block (£370) may be refunded upon request by the student. Block lessons must be used within 6 months of purchase. The refund amount will be calculated as the block price minus the number of completed lessons charged at the standard single lesson rate of £40 per lesson (e.g., if 3 lessons completed: £370 – £120 = £250 refund).

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
a. Notice Requirement (Both Parties): A minimum of 48 hours’ notice with confirmed receipt is required by either party for any cancellation or request to reschedule a lesson. With adequate notice, lessons will be rescheduled to a mutually convenient time at no additional charge.
b. Short Notice by Student (Less than 48 Hours): Lessons cancelled by the student with less than 48 hours’ notice are considered used and are non-refundable. The lesson fee will be retained, or the session will be deducted from the purchased block.
c. Short Notice by Instructor (Less than 48 Hours): If ArthV Guitar Studio must cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, the student will receive an apology, a chocolate, and refund for that lesson or an extra lesson, per student’s choice.
d. No-Show: Lessons missed by the student without prior notification are non-refundable and will be deducted from the block. The instructor reserves the right to terminate the agreement if no-shows become habitual.

4. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. ArthV Guitar Studio reserves the right to terminate immediately if the student exhibits aggressive, inappropriate, or abusive behaviour, or if there is persistent failure to adhere to the payment and cancellation policy. In such cases of termination for cause, refunds will be calculated as per Section 2b, minus one lesson fee (£40) to account for the unfilled lesson slot. Students may terminate at any time and receive a refund calculated as per Section 2b.
